Sarah Denner is an associate at Gearing Rackner & McGrath and is licensed to practice law in the state of Oregon.
Sarah was born in Eugene, Oregon. She received her Bachelor in Science in Business Administration from the University of Oregon and Doctor of Jurisprudence from Willamette University College of Law. She has practiced family law since 2010.
Sarah practices all areas of family law, with emphasis on complex financial and high asset divorces, challenging custody and parenting time cases, and premarital agreement drafting. She regularly offers pro bono services to minor children who need independent representation in high conflict custody and parenting time cases.
Sarah is inspired by challenge and loves to learn. She enjoys the variety of legal issues and relationships that come with family law. In her personal time, Sarah enjoys outdoor athletic pursuits. Soccer is her favorite sport to play and watch. On the field, Sarah strives to make the perfect pass and create scoring opportunities. From elementary school through college, she practiced soccer nearly every day. The endurance, anticipation, and creativity required in the sport prepared her for the practice of law, where she constantly works toward achieving her clients’ goals.
Sarah serves as Treasurer on the Order of the O Executive Board of Directors and is co-Chair of the Multnomah County Family Law Group. Sarah is a member of the Multnomah County, Clackamas County, and Washington County Bar Associations; the Oregon Academy of Family Law Practitioners; and the Oregon State Bar – Family Law Section.
