Adam Shelton grew up in rural Southern Ohio. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from University of Oregon School of Law. He has been practicing family law exclusively since 2011.
Preparation, diligence, and professionalism are attributes Adam brings to each unique case. Adam views the attorney-client relationship as a team effort, as he believes clients must be invested in their future and the decisions that impact that future.
Adam specializes in complex financial dissolutions and resolving high-conflict custody matters. He also offers pro bono services to minor children who require independent representation.
Adam serves as a member of the Multnomah Court, Clackamas County and Washington County Bar Associations; the Oregon State Bar-Family Law Section, the Oregon Academy of Family Law Practitioners and the Oregon Judicial Department Family Law Advisory Committee.
When Adam isn’t in the office or a courtroom, he spends his free time playing soccer or basketball, getting tossed around on the jiu jitsu mat, watching matinee Sunday movies, and exploring the Pacific NW through snowboarding, mountain biking, or hiking.
