Shannon Parrott joined Gearing, Rackner and McGrath in 2019. She has a wide range of experience in family law with a focus on practical problem solving, efficiency and client advocacy. As a multi-state practitioner, Ms. Parrott is licensed in both Oregon and Washington.
Ms. Parrott graduated from the University of Washington School of Law in 2005. She was a Special Prosecuting attorney in Lihue, Hawaii where she prosecuted domestic violence cases and worked closely with larger community education and outreach programs. Upon returning to private practice in Honolulu, she focused on high-conflict family law cases, multi-jurisdictional issues (UCCJEA), and working with service members and their families.
Now back in her native Pacific Northwest, Ms. Parrott continues to focus on the needs of families. Understanding that one size does not fit all, she works especially hard to ensure that her clients have the information they need to make informed decisions about their cases. Ms. Parrott’s clients benefit from her breath of knowledge and variety of experience, her focus on details, and her willingness to go the extra mile.
