Erin Morris is an associate at Gearing, Rackner & McGrath, LLP and is licensed to practice law in the state of Oregon.
Erin is a Portland, Oregon native and alumna of St. Mary’s Academy. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Willamette University College of Law and graduated Cum Laude from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During her undergraduate coursework, Erin also attended University College Dublin and American University in Washington D.C. as a guest student. Before entering private practice, she worked as a court-certified law clerk for the Oregon Department of Justice Torts and Employment Litigation Division.
Erin practices all areas of family law. She also regularly offers pro bono services to minor children who need independent representation.
Erin has always felt that family law is the most deeply personal way in which the law touches our lives, and approaches representation with the understanding that she has a unique responsibility to usher clients through the process confidently and with compassion. She develops strong client relationships built on consistent communication, attention to detail and preparedness.
Erin serves as a member of the Multnomah County, Clackamas County and Washington County Bar Associations; the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association; the Oregon State Bar – Family Law Section; the Oregon Academy of Family Law Practitioners; and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, Oregon Chapter.
