Adam McKibben is an associate at Gearing, Rackner & McGrath, LLP.
Mr. McKibben was born in Boise, ID. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, where he double-majored in History and Art History. During his undergraduate tenure, Adam competed in intercollegiate policy and parliamentary debate. After graduating, Mr. McKibben continued to stay involved in the debate community by coaching Whitman College and Walla Walla High School debate students.
Mr. McKibben earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2016. Mr. McKibben’s interest in family law was sparked by his work for the University of Oregon Domestic Violence Clinic. While there, Mr. McKibben litigated contested hearings for restraining orders and stalking protective orders. Before entering private practice, Adam also worked as a judicial extern to Judge Karsten H. Rasmussen in Lane County.
Mr. McKibben is admitted to practice in all of Oregon. Currently, Adam is a member of the Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington County Bar Associations, and the Oregon State Bar – Family Law Section.
